Meditation Guide to Boost Your Mood

We know what you’re thinking; ‘Meditation doesn’t work!’

And we understand why you might think that. There’s been a lot of discussion about meditation being a “quick fix.” Unfortunately, that’s not the case. It’s something you have to continuously work at. Think of meditation like exercising. If you’ve never worked out before, you’re not going to go into the gym and try to bench press 400lbs. You start slow. And that’s what you should do with meditation.

So when your start out meditating, be realistic with your goals. In the beginning, try to meditate for a few minutes a couple times a week. You don’t need to become a monk and meditate hours on-end every day. It’s not possible. Again, start slow.

Below are a few meditation guides that we enjoy. We suggest doing it at a time during the day where you have some privacy. That can be either in the morning, at night, whenever. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

The most important part is to just get started.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation/Meditation

Mindful Meditation

Destress Exercise
